We have provided our services to many public and private clients local and national. The firm has experience in Master Planning, Collaborative Designs, Construction Documents, Construction Administration, and Construction Management. The Project Team has a wide variety of experience in designing and managing various project types that include office buildings, libraries, tenant improvements, renovation projects, educational buildings, administrative offices, childcare facilities, multi-purpose centers, Sports Facilities, showrooms, interior design projects as well as historic preservation.

As one of our Senior Project Managers, Cruz has established his reputation for extraordinary leadership by going far and beyond by providing typical management services. He has achieved this through providing the highest quality of work across multiple sectors and phases on all projects; from initial project inception to project completion and building occupancy. The quality and diversity of his experience allows us of offer you the responsive service and innovative ideas that are critical to the success of your projects. Cruz is committed to planning and the design for all your needs as a primary contact and manager of your project and needs. He has been selected not only for his exceptional credentials but also for his personal interest in contributing to the success our clients. Together, with Cruz’s leadership, this design team will work with your staff to provide design implementation and overall management throughout all phase of the project.
As one of our senior associates and commercial project designer and project manager, he has worked with small and large development companies in our area and throughout Texas to provide the necessary planning framework for creating a successful commercial/retail development.
Cruz provided a coordinated approach and management structure between the owner, design team, engineers, general contractors as well as professionals within the governing municipality. With careful sequencing and advance planning timelines established he is able to expedite the project through approval such as zoning, permitting and construction.

Teamwork with our clients and subconsultants is highly encouraged, emphasized to meet the specific needs of each project we undertake and work on. Our passion is to create a perfect and longstanding relationship between all design team members and owner. This idea is accomplished by emphasizing communication, accountability, expectations and the highest standard of satisfaction. Our design team has a significant completive advantage of accomplishing these goals. GAA’s 15 years of providing Design Excellence with over 50 years combined experience has proven history of many team members working together, blending of our subconsultants resources and capabilities to meet one common goal to meet our clients needs up front. These advantages form our Design Team’s Synergy.
John Gutierrez, another of our Senior Associate Members and Senior Project Manager extensive experience continues to advance and promote the design team’s ability to provide the best customer service. With his experience in architectural design, construction documents production, construction administration and project coordination will further advance any project undertaken by the firm. His related project experience includes municipal, governmental, military, educational and commercial and corporate projects. Some of the firm’s governmental clients include projects for City of El Paso, University of Texas at El Paso, Texas Tech Health Sciences Center-El Paso, Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas-El Paso Branch, General Services Administration, Federal Bureau of Investigation and Drug Enforcement Agency for the Department of Justice. John’s responsibilities include planning and coordination of all phases of the project with primary responsibilities for producing projects from initial design, schematic, design development, to 100% construction plans and on to project closeout. He manages the development of the project design strategies thru construction document production as well as oral presentations to clients as well as public engagement and others. John supervises and coordinates all project activities and production staff.
